National Workshop on EU funded regional project targeting climate change and agro-biodiversity in the South Caucasus region

On February 28, 2012, Armenian Branch of The Regional Environmental Center for the Caucasus will organise a National Workshop within the framework of the EU funded regional project "Identification and implementation of adaptation response to Climate Change impact  for Conservation and Sustainable use of agro-biodiversity  in arid and semi-arid ecosystems of South Caucasus," co-funded by GIZ.

The overall objective of the project is to build adaptive capacities in South Caucasus countries in order to ensure resilience of agro-biodiversity of especially vulnerable arid and semi-arid ecosystems and local livelihoods to climate change.

During the national workshop progress reports, latest achievements, and further activities will also be presented by project experts. Information materials including CD packs and project reports will be delivered to attendees.

The workshop is taking place on 28 February 2012, at 12:30 at REC Caucasus Armenia BO office located at 1 Charents Ave., 2nd floor, 212 room, Yerevan, Armenia.
